Der namibische Gesundheitsrat hat Mitarbeitern im Gesundheitswesen mit rechtlichen Schritten gedroht, sollten sie Fehlinformationen zur COVID19-Pandemie verbreiten. Der Rat habe zuletzt mit Sorge registriert, dass vermehrt falsche Angaben zur Pandemie, Corona-Impfstoffen und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten durch medizinisches Personal in Umlauf gebracht würden. Das könnte die Sicherheit der Patienten in Namibia gefährden, heißt es weiter. Neue Theorien und Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Pandemie müssten zuerst mit den Behörden diskutiert werden.
