Nach der juristischen Niederlage im Lühl-Prozess hält sich das Innenministerium über mögliche weitere Schritte zunächst bedeckt. Exekutivdirektor Etienne Maritz erklärte, dass man zunächst die Urteilsbegründung abwarten wolle, die für den 19. Oktober angesetzt ist. Anschließend werde man überprüfen, ob das Ministerium weitere rechtliche Maßnahmen einleiten werde. Der Namibier Phillip Lühl und sein mexikanischer Ehemann Eduardo Guillermo Castañeda hatte gestern vor dem Obergericht einen juristischen Sieg errungen. Das Gericht urteilte, dass dem in Südafrika durch Leihmutterschaft geborenen Sohn des Paares die namibische Staatsbürgerschaft durch Abstimmung zustehe.
