Staatspräsident Hage Geingob hat ein weiteres angekündigtes Komitee zur Wirtschaftsförderung benannt. Dieses habe das Ziel Namibia für die „Industrie 4.0“ fit zu machen. Dabei gehe es um zukunftsorientierte Projekte der Digitalisierung, teilte das Präsidialamt mit. Das Komitee diene dem Wirtschaftsförderungsbereich des „2. Harambee Wohlstandsplans“. Vorsitzende ist die UNAM-Pro-Vizekanzlerin für Forschung Anicia Peters . Zudem gehören zu dem bis Ende Juni 2022 dienenden Komitee sieben weitere Mitglieder, die sämtlich aus dem nationalen und südafrikanischen Wirtschafts- bzw. Forschungsbereich kommen.
