Das ausstehende Kreditvolumen für den namibischen Privatsektor ist im November 2021 minimal angestiegen. Das geht aus Zahlen des Finanzdienstleisters IJG hervor. Demnach stand das Gesamtvolumen bei N$ 106,7 Milliarden. Im Vergleich zum Vormonat entspricht das einem Anstieg von 0,32 Prozent, im Jahresvergleich um 1,56 Prozent. Beinahe die Hälfte der ausstehenden Gelder entfiel im November auf Hypothekendarlehen, wobei hier im Jahresvergleich mit über vier Prozent der größte Anstieg verzeichnet wurde. Den Analysten zufolge zeigen die weiterhin niedrigen Zahlen fehlenden Optimismus in Bezug auf die namibische Wirtschaft. Auch die historisch niedrigen Zinsen hätten der Wirtschaft keine Impulse gegeben.
