Eine mögliche Corona-Pflichtimpfung ist nicht vom Tisch. Dem Namibian nach arbeite der Attorney General derzeit an einer rechtlichen Einschätzung hierzu. Diese Maßnahme sei eine von zahlreichen Optionen die Impfquote im Land zu erhöhen, so Justizminister Yvonne Dausab. Wann genau der oberste Rechtsexperte im Land seine Einschätzung der Regierung vorlegen wird, sei aber unklar. Ein Aspekt warum das Thema Pflichtimpfungen nie wirklich auf dem Tisch lag, sei der Mangel an Impfstoff gewesen. Mittlerweile gäbe es aber genügend Impfstoff im Land. Schlussendlich sei dies eine extrem komplexe rechtliche Frage, die vor allem die Verfassung beträfe.
