Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
In Namibia wird heute der Tag der namibischen Verfassung begangen. Damit wird alljährlich die Verabschiedung der Verfassung am 9. Februar 1990 gefeiert. Präsident Hage Geingob sprach dabei heute von einem historischen Tag für Namibia. Er warnte gleichzeitig aber auch davor, dass eine gute Verfassung allein nicht ausreichend sei. Diese müsse immer von Institutionen und Prozessen begleitet werden, die zum gemeinsamen Wohlstand der Bevölkerung beitragen würden. Gleichzeitig habe er jedoch vollstes Vertrauen in das namibische System, so Geingob weiter. Auch Parlamentspräsident Peter Katjavivi würdigte die Verfassung als Grundlage zur nationalen Entwicklung.
