Die Suche nach einem achtjährigen Tigerweibchen, das am Wochenende im Süden von Johannesburg aus seinem Gehege entkommen war, ist beendet. Dies berichtet news24.
Wie Gresham Mandy, Vertreterin des Community Policing Forum, mitteilte, sei das Tigerweibchen am Mittwochmorgen eingeschläfert worden. Sheba, so der Name des Tigers, war seit dem Wochenende in ein Farmgebiet eingedrungen. Sie tötete dabei eines der Haustiere und attackierte auch einen Menschen. Der Grund für die Entscheidung, das Tier zu töten, war vor allem die Sicherheit der Menschen und Tiere auf der Farm.
