Das Trusted Travel System wird am dem 1. Dezember für alle Reisenden in Namibia zur Pflicht. Das gab Gesundheitsminister Kalumbi Shangula heute bekannt. Demnach seien bereits jetzt alle akkreditierten Labore in Namibia Teil des Systems, das ab der kommenden Woche an allen Grenzen des Landes zum Einsatz kommen soll. Mit dem Trusted Travel System sollen beispielsweise Corona-Testergebnisse digitalisiert und Informationen über Einreisebestimmungen leichter verfügbar gemacht werden. Shangula sprach dazu heute von einem Meilenstein im Kampf gegen COVID19 in Namibia. Einerseits würde so Reisenden das Leben deutlich erleichtert, andererseits könne Namibia so effektiver gegen gefälschte Testergebnisse vorgehen, so der Minister.
