Mehr als acht Jahre nach dem gewaltsamen Tod eines Mannes auf einer Farm bei Okahandja soll der Prozess nun Ende Februar fortgeführt werden. New Era berichtet, dass der Deutschnamibier Fritz Eichhoff nun nach einer gemeinsamen Entscheidung von Anklage und Verteidigung nach, dann vor Gericht erscheinen müsse. Dem 38-Jährigen wird vorgeworfen auf der väterlichen Farm im Jahr 2013 einen mutmaßlichen Wilderer erschossen und anschließend vergraben zu haben. Eichhoff ist zudem der Tötung zweier Hunde angeklagt. Er befindet sich gegen Kaution von 30.000 Namibia Dollar, nachdem er lange in U-Haft saß, auf freiem Fuß.
