Der wegen Mordes verurteilte hochrangige Mitarbeiter des Innenministeriums, Likius Valombola, hält eine Geldstrafe für angemessen. Dies sagte er bei der ersten Anhörung zum Strafmaß für seine Tat. Eine Haftstrafe sei vernichtend für seine Familie. Er und seine Kinder würden alles verlieren, so der 57-Jährige. Valombo hatte einen jungen Mann vor knapp 3,5 Jahren erschossen. Vor einigen Wochen wurde er deshalb wegen nicht geplanten Mordes verurteilt Das Strafmaß soll nun am 2. Dezember verkündet werden. Rechtsexperten halten es für unwahrscheinlich, dass er nicht in Haft muss.
