In Angola hat eine Reform des Wahlgesetzes zu Demonstrationen geführt. AFP berichtet, dass hunderte Anhänger der Opposition am Wochenende auf die Straßen der Hauptstadt Luanda gegangen sind. Sie fordern eine Rücknahme der Änderungen. Staatspräsident João Lourenço hatte den Vorschlag eingebracht, dass die Auszählung der Stimmen bei den Parlaments- und Präsidentschaftswahlen in Zukunft zentralisiert stattfinden soll. Dies untergrabe laut der Opposition die Transparenz von Wahlen. Es sei laut UNITA klar, dass die Wahlgesetzänderung zu einer Sicherung der Position der Regierungspartei führen soll. Dies sei nicht akzeptabel.
