Die Zentralbank belässt den Leitzins erneut unverändert bei 3,75 Prozent. Das gab Bankchef Johannes !Gawaxab heute bekannt. So sei das zuständige Komitee bei seinen Sitzungen zum Wochenstart zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass ein unveränderter Leitzins weiterhin wichtig für die wirtschaftliche Erholung des Landes sei. Gleichzeitig erklärte !Gawaxab aber auch, dass man einen globalen Inflationsanstieg beobachte, was sich auf die zukünftige Geldpolitik der Bank auswirken könnte. Das Komitee tritt Anfang Dezember letztmalig in diesem Jahr zusammen.
