Der Neuwagenmarkt hat im April einen leichten Rückgang verzeichnet. Die rund 900 verkauften Neufahrzeuge bedeuten im Monatsvergleich einen Einbruch um 38 Prozent. Im Jahresvergleich gingen die Verkaufszahlen um 10,5 Prozent zurück. Der Verkauf von Personen- und Nutzfahrzeugen hielt sich dabei in etwa die Waage. Laut Daten des Finanzdienstleister Simonis Storm dominierten dabei japanische Hersteller mit fast zwei Dritteln aller Verkäufe, angeführt von Toyota. Dahinter folgen mit einem Anteil von 12,7 Prozent deutsche Hersteller wie Volkswagen und Mercedes.
