er vor knapp zwei Wochen leblos im Namib-Dünenmeer aufgefundene französische Tourist erlag einer fortgeschrittenen Leberzirrhose. Dies habe die Obduktion ergeben, berichten Medien unter Berufung auf den Reiseveranstalter. Der 54-Jährige war am 11. November als vermisst gemeldet worden. Einen Tag später wurde er von Suchmannschaften gefunden. Unklar sei, warum der Mann nicht an den Parkplatz zurückgekehrt sei, nachdem er selber aufgrund seiner Gesundheit dies vorgeschlagen hatte, als der Rest der Gruppe höher auf die Dünen stieg. Er habe sich womöglich verirrt. Beim Auffinden habe er ausreichend Wasser und Medikamente bei sich gehabt.
