Die illegale Einwanderung nach Namibia hält unvermindert an. Vor allem der Nordosten des Landes ist betroffen, berichtet der Namibian. Dort sollen zuletzt binnen zwei Wochen 82 illegale Einwanderer festgenommen worden sein. Es habe sich zum Großteil um Sambier, aber auch um Personen aus Angola, Simbabwe, Ghana und Uganda gehandelt. 70 von ihnen seien binnen Stunden wieder deportiert worden. Die restlichen zwölf befänden sich weiterhin in Polizeigewahrsam. Einige von ihnen hätten offene Haftbefehle in Namibia, anderen wird Ehebetrug vorgeworfen.
