Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
Die insgesamt acht namibischen Geparde sollen am kommenden Samstag in Indien eintreffen. Nach Informationen der Nachrichtenagentur AFP handelt es sich um fünf männliche und drei weibliche Tiere. Sie sollen von Windhoek zunächst in die westindische Stadt Jaipur geflogen werden. Von dort sollen die Raubkatzen mit dem Helikopter in den Kuno Nationalpark gebracht werden. Geparde gelten in Indien seit 70 Jahren als ausgestorben. Die Anzahl der exportierten Tiere könnten nach Angaben des namibischen Umweltministeriums in Zukunft noch steigen.
