Die südafrikanische Menschenrechtsorganisation AfriForum zieht gegen die erneute Verlängerung des COVID19-Ausnahmezustandes vor Gericht. Dies teilte Kampagnenmanager Jacques Broodryk mit. Es gäbe keinen Grund mehr der Regierung Sonderrechte im Kampf gegen die Pandemie einzuräumen. Das Land sei nun seit zwei Jahren so regiert worden. Die Pandemie sei weitestgehend zu einem Ende gekommen, so Broodryk. Die Regierung gehe absolut planlos vor und fühle sich mit den Sonderrechten scheinbar besser gegen die Bevölkerung aufgestellt. Es gehe um Machtmissbrauch und Korruption.
