Ein Video von mutmaßlicher Polizeigewalt hat auf den sozialen Medien für einen Aufschrei gesorgt. In dem Video ist zu sehen, wie zwei Polizeibeamten einen Mann auf die Ladefläche eines Polizeifahrzeuges stoßen. Der Festgenommene hat die Hände in Handschellen hinter dem Rücken gefesselt und leistet offensichtlich keinen Widerstand. Die Hintergründe sind noch unklar. Polizeisprecherin Kauna Shikwambi sprach von unziemlichen Verhalten durch die Beamten, machte allerdings keine weiteren Angaben zu dem Vorfall. Nach Angaben von NamPol wurden in den letzten 10 Jahren rund 200 Fälle von Polizeigewalt zur Anzeige gebracht.
