In einem vierseitigen Brief soll die im „Wasserfall“-Mordfall angeklagte Azaan Madisia ihre Tatbeteiligung eingestanden haben. Das Schreiben, dass in der U-Haft erstellt worden sein soll, lege dem Namibian vor. Demnach habe die Tötung im Rahmen einer Sauftour stattgefunden. Ein Streit habe dann zum Tod geführt. Zudem nennt Madisia auch nicht den Namen ihres als Haupttäter geltenden Bruders. Sie soll sich in dem Brief zutiefst schockiert über den Tod gezeigt haben. Er war an den Vater des Kindes des Opfers gerichtet, mit dem sie ebenso eine Beziehung gehabt haben soll. Madisia und ihr Bruder werden der Tötung von Shannon Wasserfall im April 2020 in Walvis Bay verdächtigt.
