Binnen der kommenden zwei Wochen soll es auch für Namibier ein digitales COVID19-Impferzifikat geben. Dies stellte das Gesundheitsministerium in Aussicht. Man erfülle damit die neuen Einreiseanforderungen Südafrikas, das die herkömmlichen Impfnachweise seit vorgestern nicht mehr akzeptiert. Vorerst sind somit wieder PCR- bzw. Antigentestergebnisse für Inhaber einer namibischen COVID19-Impfbescheinigung notwendig. Realisiert werden soll der digitale Impfpass mit Hilfe des Trusted Travel System der Afrikanischen Union.
