Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
Staatspräsident Hage Geingob hat die namibischen Medien aufgerufen, ein positiveres Bild des Landes zu zeichnen. Wenn man die aktuelle Presse verfolge, könne man einen falschen Eindruck vom Land gewinnen, so Geingob zur Eröffnung der diesjährigen Kabinettssaison. Man werde regelrecht depressiv bei dem, was man über das Land lesen müsse, so Geingob. Die Medien sollten keine Angst davor haben, die positiven Dinge, die in Namibia tagtäglich passieren, hervorzuheben. Gleichzeitig sei es aber auch wichtig, dass die staatlichen Stellen ihrer Informationsverpflichtung nachkommen. Hier habe sich aber schon vieles zum Guten gewendet, sagte Geingob weiter.
