Immer mehr Unternehmen im Land ziehen Konsequenzen für ungeimpfte Mitarbeiter. Nun kündigte die Letshego Holding an, dass sämtliche ungeimpfte Mitarbeiter ab März nur noch im Home Office arbeiten dürfen. Eine Rückkehr zur normalen Arbeit sei nur mit vollständiger Impfung möglich. Auch die südafrikanische Drogeriekette Dis-Chem geht der Informanté nach diesen Schritt. Dies sei zum Schutze geimpfter Mitarbeiter und den Kunden nötig. Für Dis-Chem-Angestellte gelte sogar der 1. Februar als Stichtag. Hier wird ein Antigen-Schnelltest für ungeimpfte Mitarbeiter an jedem Montag zur Pflicht. Die Kosten trage der Mitarbeiter. Zudem würden nur geimpfte Mitarbeiter im Falle einer COVID19-Erkrankungen Sonderurlaub erhalten.
