In der durch Islamisten seit Monaten bedrohten mosambikanischen Region Cabo Delgado ist das normale Leben weitestgehend zurückgekehrt. Medienberichten nach hätten alle Schulen ganz normal wieder geöffnet. 46 Schulen seien aber bei den militärischen Auseinandersetzungen, zwischen Truppen Ruandas und der SADC auf der einen und Islamisten auf der anderen Seite, zerstört wurden. Auch der Mineralölkonzern TotalEnergies kehrt wieder in die Region zurück und will bereits in Kürze den Betrieb wieder aufnehmen. Die Sicherheitslage habe sich deutlich verbessert, heißt es.
