Nach Kritik an der ersten Sondierungsmission in Eswatini will die SADC Troika eine weitere Delegation in das von Unruhen erschütterte Land entsenden. Das gab Botswanas Präsident Mokgweetsi Masisi in einer Pressemitteilung bekannt. Aufgrund der kurzfristigen Ansetzung der ersten Mission sei es nicht möglich gewesen, mit allen Gruppierungen zu sprechen. Daran hatten Vertreter der Zivilgesellschaft in Eswatini massive Kritik geübt. Bei der ersten Gesprächsrunde habe es laut Masisi derweil klare Zustimmung für einen nationalen Dialog zur Konfliktlösung in dem Königreich gegeben.
