Namibia und Monaco wollen sich im Rahmen der jüngst aufgenommenen bilateralen Beziehungen auf den Meeresschutz konzentrieren. Das berichtet die NBC. Demnach seien Präsident Hage Geingob und der Fürst von Monaco, Albert II., zuletzt am Rande der Weltklimakonferenz in Glasgow zu Gesprächen zusammengekommen. Die Stiftung des Fürsten hat sich vor allem dem Schutz der Ozeane verschrieben, was die Basis zukünftiger Zusammenarbeiten sein soll. Namibias Botschafter in Frankreich, Albertus Aochamub, war kürzlich als außerordentlicher Botschafter für Monaco anerkannt worden.
