Im NIMT-Doppelmord will der Angeklagte Klaus Lichtenstrasser auf Kaution freikommen. Als Grund gab er an, dass er mit seiner Ehefrau eine Familie gründen wolle, berichtet der Namibian. Zudem halten ihn die COVID19-Maßnahmen in der Haftanstalt davon ab, sich mit seinem Anwalt auf den Prozess vorzubereiten. Er könne mit Hilfe seiner Familie in Österreich eine Kautionszahlung von 15.000 Namibia Dollar aufbringen. Der 60-Jährige ist des Mordes an den beiden NIMT-Direktoren Eckhart Mueller und Heimo Hellwig im April 2019 angeklagt. Er wies zu Prozessauftakt im Februar 2021 alle Anschuldigungen von sich. Der reguläre Prozess soll im März fortgeführt werden.
