Die Privatschulen im Land fordert die Zulassung das abgelegte Examen der Klassen 11 und 12. Der Vorschlag des Bildungsministeriums auch diese im Januar oder Februar nochmals zu schreiben sei überaus demoralisierend. Dies sagte die Association of Private Schools in Namibia in einem offenen Schreiben an das Ministerium. Grundsätzlich gelte die Unschuldsvermutung für alle Schüler, die bereits Examen geschrieben haben. Vielmehr sollten die Schüler, die geschummelt haben, hat bestraft werden. Logistisch und administrativ sei die Verschiebung bzw. Wiederholung von Examen Anfang kommenden Jahres kaum zu stemmen.
