Die Vorbereitung von Abgangsschülern auf die berufliche Ausbildung muss Priorität in den Sekundarschulen genießen. Dies mahnte Bildungsministerin Anna Nghipondoka laut Nampa bei einer Ansprache in Keetmanshoop an. Viele Schulabgänger wüssten beruflich nichts mit sich anzufangen, da sie nicht darüber informiert seien, welche Möglichkeiten ihnen offen stünden. Es sei zudem wichtig, dass die Schulen in Zusammenarbeit mit den tertiären Bildungsanbietern proaktiver und innovativer werden, so Nghipondoka. Nicht jeder Schulabgänger müsse studieren, sondern es gebe auch zahlreiche andere Möglichkeiten.
