Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
Mit einem Erstflug zwischen Lusaka und Ndola hat Zambia Airways gestern offiziell wieder den Betrieb aufgenommen. Fast 30 Jahre nach der Liquidierung des Unternehmens hat Sambia damit wieder eine staatliche Fluggesellschaft. Die Neugründung war durch eine Partnerschaft mit Ethiopian Airlines möglich gemacht worden. Zunächst werden bis zu sechsmal wöchentlich Flüge aus der Hauptstadt zu den Wirtschafts- und Tourismuszentren Ndola und Livingston angeboten. Die Airline wird zunächst nur Inlandsflüge anbieten, noch im ersten Quartal 2022 sollen aber auch Südafrika und Simbabwe angeflogen werden.
