Das Handelsministerium will groß in die Entwicklung zweier Grundstücke in den beiden Kongo-Republiken investieren. Wie Medien unter Berufung auf Ministeriumssprecher Elijah Mukubonda berichten, geht es um etwa 40 Hektar. Hier sollen Handels- und Industriegebiete entstehen, die dem namibischen Handel dienen sollen, heißt es weiter. Das Land sei dem Staat geschenkt worden. Beide Grundstücke von drei Hektar bei Point-Noire und 36 Hektar bei Lubumbashi seien in bevorzugtem Gebiet. Problematisch gestalten sich bei der Entwicklung aber vor allem Sprach- und Finanzierungsschwierigkeiten.
