Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
An der UNAM ist gestern ein neues Labor zur Überprüfung der Fortschritte Namibias im Kampf gegen den Klimawandel eingeweiht worden. Zehn Doktoranten sollen sich dort vor allem auf die in den sogenannten Rio-Konventionen festgehaltenen Abkommen zu Biodiversität, Wüstenbildung und Klimawandel fokussieren. Laut Umweltminister Pohamba Shifeta soll mit dem Labor in Namibia schnellere und kostengünstigere Forschung betrieben werden. Ursprünglichen wurden entsprechende Proben zur Untersuchung nach Südafrika geschickt. Die Einrichtung des Labors hat insgesamt rund N$ 2,5 Millionen gekostet.
