Unter den beiden Opfern eines Verkehrsunfalls im kanadischen Montréal am Neujahrstag befindet sich ein Namibier. Dies berichten kanadische Medien übereinstimmend. Auch namibische Auslandsvertreter bestätigten den Tod. Der 30-jährige Augustin Katimba habe sich auf dem Weg von einem Kirchenbesuch zu einem Freund befunden. Er und das andere Opfer waren vom 23-jährigen Antoine Dubuc mit seinem Fahrzeug erfasst worden. Katimba feierte am Silvestertag seinen Geburtstag. Der Verdächtige muss sich in sechs Anklagepunkten verantworten, darunter fahrlässige Tötung, Fahrerflucht und gefährlichen Eingriffs in den Straßenverkehr.
