Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
Die Hafenbehörde Namport hat den Kreis der Bewerber für ein Containerterminal in Walvis Bay auf fünf Bewerber begrenzt. Laut übereinstimmenden Medienberichten soll das Terminal als Umschlagplatz an ein internationales Frachtunternehmen verliehen werden. Die Bewerber haben nun bis zum 5. Mai Zeit, um der Hafenbehörde ein Angebot zu unterbreiten. Dieses definiert sich in erster Linie nicht nur über die Übernahmegebühr, sondern vor allem über das Frachtvolumen, das das Unternehmen an dem Terminal umschlägt. Das ausgeschriebene Containerterminal soll für 25 Jahre verpachtet werden und insgesamt 4,2 Milliarden Namibia-Dollar kosten. Noch bis Ende des Jahres soll der Pachtvertrag unterzeichnet werden.
