Generalbuchprüfer Junias Kandjeke hat dem Gesundheitsministerium schlampige Buchführung vorgeworfen. Seinem Prüfungsbericht für das Finanzjahr 2019/2020 zufolge fehlen Nachweise für mehr als 200 Fahrzeuge des Ministeriums. Dieser Fehler sei bereits in einem vorherigen Bericht angemerkt, aber bisher nicht korrigiert worden. Zudem warf Kandjeke dem Gesundheitsdirektor Ben Nangombe vor, bereits über die vergangenen fünf Jahre falsche Angaben zur Fahrzeugflotte des Ministeriums gemacht zu haben. Außerdem soll das Ministerium im vorvergangenen Finanzjahr Ausgaben in Höhe von N$ 47 Millionen getätigt haben, ohne die notwendige Erlaubnis des Fiskus einzuholen.
