Das Bergbauunternehmen B2Gold hat die Suspendierung seiner Mitarbeiter aufgehoben. Dies wurde heute bei einer Pressekonferenz bekannt gegeben. Den etwa 200 Mitarbeitern wurde vorgeworfen, sich an einem illegalen Arbeitsausstand beteiligt zu haben. Hintergrund sind Streitigkeiten um die Bezahlung von Überstunden bei dem Bergwerksbetreiber. Dazu sagte der B2Gold-Vorsitzende Leake Hangala:
– Die suspendierten Mitarbeiter hätten bereits vor vier Tagen wieder ihre Arbeit aufgenommen. Damit ist die Otjikoto-Mine wieder in vollem Betrieb, heißt es weiter. Die Gewerkschaft hat anerkannt, dass der Streik nicht regelkonform war.
