Hitradio Namibia Meine Musik. Mein Sender.
Umweltminister Pohamba Shifeta hat die Namibier aufgerufen die Natur wieder mehr wertschätzen zu lernen. Es dürfe keine Überbeanspruchung und Ausbeutung der wichtigsten Ressource des Landes geben. Namibia sei seit Unabhängigkeit ein weltweites Paradebeispiel für den Natur- und Umweltschutz. Besonders die Wälder des Landes seien bedroht. Durch eine Aufklärungskampagne wolle das Ministerium nun mehr Aufmerksamkeit für die Thematik des Naturschutzes erregen. Gemeinsam mit der Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung wurde deshalb die 3-teilige Serie „The Forests of Desert Land“ produziert.
