LPM-Parteiführer Bernardus Swartbooi ist des Fehlverhaltens in der Nationalversammlung schuldig. Zu diesem Ergebnis kam nun das eingesetztes Parlamentskomitee für Privilegien, wie aus einem ausführlichen Bericht hervorgeht. Diverse Anhörungen und eidesstattliche Erklärungen hätten deutlich gemacht, dass Swartbooi bei der Rede zur Lage der Nation von Staatspräsident Hage Geingob Mitte April, das Ansehen der Nationalversammlung beschädigt habe. Swartbooi hatte die Rede mehrfach unterbrochen und war später aus dem Saal geführt worden. Swartbooi habe sich grob unkorrekt verhalten. Das Unterhaus solle deshalb gemäß seiner Geschäftsordnung Swartbooi bestrafen.
